Hi All,

Im new here, could someone please answer a few questions i have regarding Nanocad?

1. What are the major differences between nanocad and multicad?
2. Is nanocad a 3d platform? If so, Does the api cover 3d?
3. Can plugins be written in vb.net?
4. Is it possible to create custom 3d objects via api?
5. Is it free for testing/home use?

Thanks

Gav

Hi Gav,

1. do not know about multicad, as I can see on multicad webpage - it's still not available for downloading.
2. nanocad 5 ( free ) is 2D editor with support/display for 3D objects. nanoCAD 7 ( not free ) include 3D engine and 3D API.
3. yes
4. yes
5. nanoCAD 5 is free for personal and commercial usage. nanoCAD 7 Plus and Pro requires subscriptions for commercial usage, can be freely downloaded and installed for testing.

WBR,
Seva
