Hi There,
I recently installed Nanocad 5 to give it a try and after a couple hours of usage I noticed some issues I hope you can help me with.

When opening a dwg file some of the lines are missing, but printing is all ok.

I also installed bullzipPDF to export pdf files. My problem is opening this pdfs in Photoshop Express gives them a solid white background. Contrary exporting pdf from Archicad (again with bullzipPDF) goes in Photoshop with transparent background. Is there any way to export vector drawing (pdf) on transparent background from Nanocad 5?

1. Probably the color of some lines is black (or 0,0,0), so they merge with the background. Try to set another background color, or check the color of all lines.
2. Archicad exports files to PDF, but nanoCAD prints them. Sorry, but it is not possible export files to PDF in nanoCAD.

Thank you for your reply Hellen.
  • Lines do not merge with the background. They are unselectable also.
  • The test I made used bullZip as a printer both in archicad and nanocad and not the archicad internal exporter.

Anyway nanoCad is amazing program and I’m not trying to compare it to archicad or other high cost software.

Dear Georgi,

your file have an invalid geometry. It happens, because some CAD programs create awry DWG-files.
nanoCAD Plus 7 successfully currects these files.
Now beta-version of nanoCAD Plus 7 is available for free. Try it: http://nanocad.com/page/Betatester
