I don't think my problem is the layers. Here is an image of my distorted text

Ok this is a SHX format font problem.
With a font in Tt format, Verdana for example ...
What is going on ?

These are unrecognized letters and replaced by spaces / squares. What is your keyboard?

Ok, any true type (TT) font is good for checking.
I assume that other software is not affected by this problem?
Canadian English is basic for software.
The keyboard, can you replace it with another to give it a try. This should force Windows to recognize it.

For example the SHX then TT @Batang font reacts differently when I edit the text "? And x" or when I exit the editor.

Can you send me a file containing text?

Yes with AutoCAD and all my others softwares everything is correct and I have the same problem at home as at work so on 2 computers.
Here is a sample file. 3 texts (test) are written above the forms

It looks like a variable that replaces texts with rectangles ("light" mode) in order to save display calculations and relieve the work of the graphics card. Variable of the drawing, because if I import (correct) text from my file into your file, text switches to "light" mode.

But how do you catch this variable? .... that's the question!

Ok, I found, at home it works fine....
In the View> Visual Style> Choose something other than 2D Wireframe menu.

So it's VSCURRENT0. At this value, we do not see the text. VSCURRENT1 to 6 to view the text and manage the display mode.

The hard part is understanding the problem.
For this reason, you must always attach a file.

So we can close this discussion and if possible put RESOLVED in the title.
See you soon
cordially
Patrick
