I downloaded and installed Nanocad 5 today onto my old desktop PC which has Windows XP as the Operating System (the PC was unused since about 2013). Nanocad works, but I now realise that I need to update my OS to Windows 10 for reasons unrelated to Nanocad.
Once the OS is updated, will I need to reinstall Nanocad and if so, will I be able to reuse my Nanocad serial number? I believe the serial number is unique to the PC onto which the Nanocad was installed, so I'm not sure if I can reuse the serial number with a new Operating System or if I need to get a new serial number? I'd just like to know in advance what to expect.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Hellen,
As I'm new to this forum, please tell me how to send a reply to personal messages? I cannot see a tab or link that takes me to a personal message reply.
Thanks

Point cursor to the name and you'll see a popup window with PM button.

My answer is yes. And you will also need to re-install the antivirus software turning off mcafee firewall as I had the same query and got the solution from this forum.
