In model space I drew object 10" x 1.5" x 0.125" (rectangle consisting of 4 lines),
Want to plot on 8 1/2" x 11" Horizontal with dimensions
Need to know steps for:
Dimscale
Paper space scale
Plot page set up

I know this is a 'beginners' question and has probably been addressed many times. This would be a GREAT tutorial for future users.

Hello,
in Nanocad V5 (Free) and a few words...

In MODEL make the sketch
Go to a layout
Make a rectangular VIEWPORT and Enter for valid (menu View)
Into the viewport by 2xclics on and zoom
Exit viewport (2xclics on the paper)
Select viewport
Properties: Custom Scale = 1 or other number

1= 1/1
0.5= 1/2
0.2= 1/5
20=1/50
10=1/100
etc......
